Volunteers needed to pull the invasive Forget-Me-Nots at Pat's Preserve on July 1 at 11am.

Forget-Me-Nots are aggressive spreaders in shady and moist natural areas where they displace native plants.
Our lake biologist, Kelsey, is collaborating with the Leelanau Conservancy to eliminate these pretty but problematic blooms from our Lime Lake shoreline at Pat's Preserve.
Volunteers will meet at the entrance to Pat's Preserve at 11am on Wednesday, July 1 and then everyone will walk together to the shore. Bring a friend, gloves, and shoes you don't mind getting wet (just in case.)
Thank you for your continuing support of our efforts to keep Lime Lake healthy and beautiful!
